Client/Matter Workflow

Firms continue to identify applications that may be distributed to end users in a effort to share the responsibility of data management workflow. Time entry, disbursement entry, bill processing and client/matter maintenance are examples of the applications that are being distributed. In many firms. client/matter maintenance is a multi-step process, initiated by attorneys and secretaries, then finalized in the central files or billing department. This process generaly requires the input of virtualy the same information into several databases.

SQL*Partner offers and alternative to this process through its Client Matter Workflow Toolkit.. The Toolkit provides programs which allow the firm to define an unlimited number of user-definable fields (UDF's), map specific fields to Client Accounting file maintenance records, provide field level security and create firm-defined client/matter intake reports.
